BC2’s New Location:
The Plaza in Mendota!

Bread, Coffee and Cake (BC2), an artisan bakery, will reopen in summer 2012 in the Plaza Shopping Center in Mendota. The Plaza is on the southeast corner of where Highways 110 and Dodd Road (Hwy 149) intersect. Parking at the Plaza is plentiful and easy and there is Metro Transit bus service to this location. Our space will be roomier than at the old location. We will spend the next several weeks building out the space and getting the big specialized equipment in place.

When we reopen, as before, our bakery products will be made from scratch and sourced locally as much as possible. We will continue to offer breakfast and lunch. Our artisan breads are natural sourdough rounds, garlic sourdough, baguettes, 12-grain levain, German rye, cherry almond bread, cinnamon raisin, apple-chipotle, and the three cheese-chorizo bread that is its own meal. Again, we will have a variety of cakes, cookies, bars, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and other treats that pair very well with a cup of coffee, a specialty coffee drink, or Mrs. Kelly’s tea.
